蛰居日久，终成寡闻。今天才看到北大贺卫方教授转入浙大的消息。人生又有一场离别要发生，当然也有新的相遇和邂逅。北大也好、浙大也好，宽松、自由的环境才是知识分子的第一需要和选择。苟如是，在杭州也不觉得北京远，在北京也不觉得人已离去。但对于丧失耳提面命的机会的北大学子，确实是一种损失；浙大学子则有福了。
我不是学法律的，只听过贺教授一次演讲，只记住了他的一句话。当时有学生问：中国的现状还有法律可言吗？贺反问道："如果在座的学法律的人都不相信有法律精神，那我真不知道到哪里去寻找了！"他那种强烈的责任感和践履担当的精神令人印象深刻。使我对法律的理解一下子从条文的层次，提升到了精神的层面。说贺教授与北大的儒家践行的精神气质相契，甚至比之胡适，一点也不过，我甚至能反循之想象到胡先生当年的神采和精神气质了。难怪有人感叹法学中心南移，从此杭州西湖又多了一个令人梦魂萦绕的理由了。
杭州虽说环境优美、条件优越，浙大也以学术自由，海纳百川而著称。但我还是担心，新环境下还是有诸多不如意。但是对于像贺教授这样的人生的斗士，应该没有问题的。
人在哪里又有什么关系呢，心早已向往之。贤哲离我又近一点了，想想都是一件令人愉快的事情。窃喜中...
